Sumanth Sarangapani

Sumanth Sarangapani is the Chief Operating Officer at LifeCell, where he currently manages the Supply Chain, Customer Service & Financing, and Business Process Automation functions. Over the years he has supported the growth of LifeCell and its addition of several new products and services through efficient service delivery.

A biotechnologist at heart, he comes with extensive experience in quality, operations, and product development and management, spanning over 20 years across start-ups as well as multinational organizations. A certified lead auditor and NABL lead assessor, Sumanth has served in various strategic roles at Shasun Biotechnology, Pfizer, and GE Healthcare and has been credited for the successful launch of products into the market.

A fervent science enthusiast and a trained mridangam player, Sumanth holds a BTech in Industrial Biotechnology and Masters in Biotechnology from the University of Texas Austin, USA.
