Take out the collection card from the Aluminum Pouch (DBS DHA) and write your Name, Date and Time on the blood collection card.

a. Clean your fingertip with the swab which comes along with the collection kit.
b. The best place to prick using the lancet is on the outer center of your fingertip.

a. Twist the Lancet cover. Ensure the “BD” on the white side of the lancet is right side up.
b. Place the tip of the lancet slightly against the fleshy tip of your finger and press it until you hear a click sound.
c. Wipe away the first drop of blood with the gauze dressing.

a. After you prick your finger, extend your arm, hold your finger horizontal over the card.
b. Light touch the blood drop to one side of the Blood collection card allowing blood to fill the preprinted circle completely. Do not touch the blood collection card with your finger directly.

a. Air dry your blood collection card on a non-absorbable surface for a minimum of 2-4 hours. Do not expose the sample to sunlight/artificial drying method.
b. Post collection card to be kept away from sunlight at room temperature (below 35°C)

Mail back the collection card along with the kit box to LifeCell in self-addressed pouch.
