As the Managing Director of LifeCell, Mayur leads the company's initiatives on new product development, strategic initiatives, and overall corporate development. An entrepreneur at heart, Mayur is dedicated to making affordable and quality healthcare accessible to all Indian families. Under his leadership, LifeCell continues to set precedence and be at the vanguard in stem cell preservation. With his expansive knowledge and experience in biotechnology and healthcare, the company has successfully forayed into new segments including reproductive genetic testing and has been continually evolving to introduce innovative products in the human tissue and stem cell transplantation segment

Before joining LifeCell in 2008, Mayur served in various strategic and leadership roles at Shasun Pharmaceuticals (currently Solara Active Pharma), where he was instrumental in new product development, intellectual property management, and cross-border acquisition and integration. Mayur holds a Masters in Biotechnology Management from Northwestern University and a Bachelors in Industrial Biotechnology from Anna University.
