Ishaan Khanna

Ishaan Khanna is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at LifeCell. A techno-commercial expert, he oversees the two major divisions, BioBank and Diagnostics, which have witnessed tremendous growth and value creation under his leadership. Prior to taking the helm as CEO, Ishaan served as the Business Head of Newborn Screening and Prenatal Services for over 7 years and was instrumental in the inception and scale-up of these segments at LifeCell. Previously, he has held various strategic roles in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and chemical organizations across the UK, Australia, and India. He was also a part of the Indian Government’s sustainability project conducted in partnership with Australia, which was aimed at bringing in expertise from the biotech sector. A scientist at heart, he brings extensive experience in international business development across Europe and India.

Ishaan is an avid reader and is driven by causes associated with animal welfare and social issues. He holds a Masters degree in Biotechnology, Genetic Toxicology and Enterprise from Manipal University and the University of Manchester.
