Dr Phani Nagaraja Setty is Senior Manager- Molecular Genetics at LifeCell. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of molecular genetics and has played a key role in managing the wet lab, analysing data, interpreting NGS-based exome tests for clinical diagnostic samples, and preparing molecular genetic reports for clinicians. He specializes in addressing technical and techno-commercial challenges and queries. Previously, Dr Phani has worked as a research fellow at Manipal University and the Indian Council of Medical Research. He Phani has been a recipient of several accolades in research during his doctoral tenure, which includes the Best Outgoing Research Scholar award from Manipal University and the award for Young Scientists from the Indian Society of Human genetics.

He holds a Master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry from Kasturba Medical College and a PhD in Medical Genetics from Manipal University.
